Business meetings are held at Bourne End Community Centre (BECC), in The Target Room, on the third Tuesday of each month, starting at 7.30 pm, unless otherwise stated. These are normally followed by talks and demonstrations which begin at 8.00 pm
President Barbara with her grandaughter, Catherine our Soroptominor, delivering unwanted hospital consumables to Rosie Simbo, a midwife from Sierrra Leone. Rosie came to talk to SI Thames Valley last month, and as a result has decided to join us, and very welcome she will be. SI Thames Valley hopes to be able to help fill Rosie's container to go out to Sierra Leone in October. She is looking for all kinds of items, clothes, bed linen, toys, school and hospital items.
