BOOTS GIRLS BRING A TOUCH OF LUXURY TO SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL -  THAMES VALLEY

When they heard about the work that women’s club SI Thames Valley did to bring a little cheer into the lives of women and children in the refuges in High Wycombe, Caroline Hayday and Helen Turnbull of Boots the Chemists in High Wycombe were very keen to help.

Not only did they provide lots of toiletries and t shirts for the unfortunate women, they also offered to come along to the club and perform relaxing hand massage and mini make-overs on the enthusiastic soroptimists.  Club President Betty Maddock is shown receiving the hand massage from Helen Turnbull.

Women’s Aid support the refuges in High Wycombe and unfortunately the need is always there for women who suffer domestic violence from their partners.
