Soroptimists bring a touch of Christmas to The Women's Refuge


Members pack up Christmas presents for Wycombe Women’s Aid, who provide a refuge for those who have had to leave their homes, often with only what they stand up in.

 Soroptimists worldwide are determined to stop domestic violence and each year, to mark Human Rights Day (10th December) Soroptimist International Thames Valley sends Christmas presents to the local refuges.  The club provides emergency packs of toiletries for the women all the year round and this year, for the first time, they have been enormously cheered by the support they have received from  Boots the Chemists, High Wycombe.
